Lorry and car crash on A1 near Long Bennington

Two vehicles crashed earlier today (Wednesday).

A lorry and car collided at around 8.20am on the A1 near Long Bennington.

This resulted in the road being partially closed and traffic queues, which have since cleared.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We were called to a collision involving a lorry and a car at the A1, Long Bennington at 8.20am.

“No one was injured in the collision and both vehicles were cleared off the carriageway by 8.40am.”
