Part of major road in Newark closed for three weeks is set to re-open this weekend.

Farndon Road, from the Lord Ted pub to Farndon roundabout, has been shut for roadworks since November 1.

Work has been done to improve the access onto the A46 dual carriageway at Farndon.

The B6166 Farndon Road has also been widened on the approach to the roundabout and includes a new crossing point for pedestrians and cyclists.

The road is expected to re-open on Sunday.
