Newark Advertiser reader letters: Making figures stack up




In the Newark and Sherwood District Council meeting where the Kiddey Stones were discussed, we were told 57% of an ‘unprecedented’ 881 responses to public consultation were unsupportive of the project.

In the same meeting, council leader Paul Peacock said his interpretation was different and that, in fact, he felt well over 80% wanted the stones on public view.
