Newark: Male found on A57 at Dunham-on-Trent charged with hunting offences

A male has been charged with poaching/hunting offences.

Police located a male on the A57 at Dunham-on-Trent on Sunday morning and arrested him on suspicion of the offences.

Officers said his vehicle was seized and an application will be made for forfeiture.

They said: "This was as a result of local landowners working closely with the police.

"We encourage members of the public to continue to call these incidents in so we can take appropriate action against the offenders."
