Nottinghamshire Police and air ambulance called to Mill Green, Newark, following assault

An air ambulance was called to the victim of an assault on Friday morning.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to Mill Green, Newark, at around 11.30am on Friday (July 3).

The air ambulance attended but the male was taken to hospital by land ambulance.

It's believed his injuries are not life threatening or altering.

A 24-year-old man was arrested in connection with the assault.
