A man who crashed a car into a hedge has been arrested on suspicion of disqualified driving, failing to stop and driving with no insurance

The 38-year-old male initially failed to stop when asked by response officers in Newark, before later crashing into a hedge in Bathley.

Following a brief foot chase the suspect was detained and arrested.

Newark Police urged residents to stay at home and help save lives.
