Kevin Osbon gets on the honours board with a matchplay win after beating Glen Woolley at Oakmere Park Golf Club
It has been a long time coming but a golfer has got onto his club's honours board after becoming matchplay champion.
Fiskerton-based Kevin Osbon won the accolade at Oakmere Park Golf Club after beating Glen Woolley in a tough, competitive but sporting final.
Osbon had to play through five rounds of competition on the main Admirals course in Oxton to win the David Downs Trophy and secure his place on the club honours board.
"I’m delighted to win this prestigious trophy given the range of quality senior players that entered the competition," said Osbon.
"It’s great to finally make it onto the club honours board."
