Man arrested in Averham, near Newark, after substantial 400-plant cannabis grow discovered by police

A male has been arrested for production of cannabis after a substantial grow was discovered.

Today (Tuesday, July 26), officers from Operation Reacher arrested a male in Averham for production of cannabis and the abstraction of electricity.

Over four hundred plants were seized along with cash and mobile phones.

The large cannabis grow was found and dismantled by Nottinghamshire Police's Drug Support Team.

The male remains in police custody as enquiries are on-going.
