Man arrested and machete recovered following disturbance outside property on Wellow Green, Ollerton
A man has been arrested and a machete was recovered following a disturbance outside a property.
Officers were called to an address on Wellow Green, Ollerton, on Wednesday at 2.50pm following a report of a man armed with a machete.
The suspect left the scene on a bike but after a description was given to police, they quickly located the man.
He was arrested on suspicion of the possession of a bladed article and criminal damage.
Later, officers recovered a machete that had been discarded of in a bush.
The man remains in custody.
