Man jailed for taking £3,000-worth of guitars from RST Music, Newark
A man who broke into a music shop and stole around six guitars totalling up to £3,000 has been sentenced to 16 months in prison and another man has received a suspended sentence.
Officers attended RST Music in Cartergate, Newark, after the burglar alarm had sounded at around 11.55pm on April 15 and found the front door had been forced and guitars were missing.

This turned out to be David Baldwin, 37, also of Newark Road, Ollerton.
He was arrested around an hour later in the street after police found guitars in the area he was spoken to and identified him from CCTV.
Both men were both charged with burglary and pleaded guilty to the offences at the remand hearing on April 16.
They were sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday.
Baldwin was given a ten-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, and ordered to do rehabilitation activity days while Barthorpe was locked up for 16 months.
Detective Constable Richard Lewin, who led the investigation, said: "It's a testament to the officers who were instantly on scene that this case has been dealt with so quickly, as they quickly followed up enquiries leading to the swift arrests.
"I would also like to thank my team who gathered the evidence required so efficiently. We take burglaries really seriously and prioritise them as a force.
"We have officers regularly patrolling areas across Nottinghamshire and we are ready to act as quickly as they did in this case to catch criminals in the act."
