Man taken to hospital by East Midlands Ambulance Service after motorcycle crash on Newark Road in Wellow, attended by Nottinghamshire Police and Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service

A man has been take to hospital after being involved in a motorcycle crash.

The incident happened on the Newark Road through Wellow this afternoon.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to the scene at 2.05pm by East Midlands Ambulance Service, who were attending to the motorcyclist.

The man was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life altering

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended the incident and the road, from the Maypole pub in Wellow, was closed to traffic for several hours.
