Man taken to Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham, with stab wounds to chest and arm pit after late night disorder on Turner Lane and Manvers View, Ollerton




A man has been taken to hospital with stab wounds to his chest and arm pit after late night disorder.

Officers attended the incident on Turner Lane and Manvers View, Ollerton, at 10pm last night (Sunday) after a fight was reported.

They recovered a number of weapons at the scene including an axe, a hammer and a baseball bat.

Two men, aged 28 and 32, were arrested and remain in police custody.

One man suffered stab wounds to his chest and arm pit and was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham. His injuries are thought not to be life threatening.

Police officers remain at the scene with the investigation continuing.
