Readers’ Letters: More free parking lost to town

A long-used free parking area without time limits for many moons, but not anymore - now there is no parking at all on one side of Bede House Lane.

I have not checked the status of the other side.

This is a potential kick in the teeth for the market stall holders, a good many of whom park there after dropping off their wares at their stall.

For all the self praise they heap on themselves, our council are really undermining stability and growth.

There will be less stallholders and more shops will close because of these so called experts turning away business. — BRIAN CLARK, Balderton.
