A mother of two opened SuperStars tiney home nursery at her home on Queen Street, Balderton
A mother of two has opened a ‘tiney’ home nursery to give children a home-from-home environment.
Emma Ragless opened the SuperStars Tiney Home Nursery at her house in Queen Street, Balderton in September of this year.
She has worked in childcare for over 20 years, after quitting her job at a nursery in August.
Emma hopes to create an environment where children can feel confident to explore and follow their interests and learn through play.
“I wanted to give a more caring approach to the children and I think both children benefit more from the smaller groups and parents are more engaged in their development,” she said.
SuperStars tiney home nursery accepts children under the age of one until five years of age in groups of three to four children per day.
Emma has set up a flexible schedule, working from 8am until 6pm to easier family lives as she is a mother herself and knows the struggle of nursery timings.

The fun and stimulating activities are linked to the EYFS curriculum and include weekly trips related to the term topics.
“Tiney is a lovely company and the community of childminders is really nice, all the girls are lovely and we are in constant training,” added Emma.
