Musician sought

By NewarkAdvertiser Reporter

As a musician one of the things I like best about the Newark is its vibrant music scene.

There is something to suit every taste and it is encouraging to see that, as well as festivals, and concerts at the theatre and at the bandstand, there is a lot of support from pubs and clubs for local bands.

Which is why I cannot understand why I am finding it so difficult to find a bass player for my own band.

We are an adult (over-40s) R&B band looking to rehearse enough songs to fill two set-lists and gig locally.

Anyone interested — male or female — can phone/text me on 07546 903257 if they want to play.

All abilities are welcome, from first-timers to experienced players, but ideally somebody who can commit to my band and who won’t be dividing his/her time with any other band. — Chris Watson, Newark (Full address supplied).
