New banking hub owned by LINK, the UK’s Cash Access and ATM network opens at Helping Hands Team Limited in Ollerton
A new banking hub has opened doors at a temporary location to serve the banking needs of the town’s residents and businesses.
The UK’s Cash Access and ATM network, announced yesterday (May 6) that it has opened doors at Helping Hands Team Limited, Unit 3, Forest Court in Ollerton.
The hub, which will be open weekdays from 9am to 5pm aims to serve people’s banking needs while plans for its permanent home progress.
When open, it offers basic banking and cash services to all banks, including withdraw cash, both notes and coin; deposit cash, both notes and coin; deposit cheques; pay utility bills; check account balance and collect change for registered business customers.
It also provides the convenience of a community banker service, where people can discuss more complex banking matters with their own bank on the day their bank is in the hub.
On Tuesdays, a banker from Barclays will be available and on Wednesdays, one from NatWest.
A community banker from Halifax will be available on Mondays from June, and a Lloyds one will soon be available on Thursdays.
Customers of major banks and building societies can access cash services from the Post Office counter service whenever the hub is open, even if their bank doesn’t provide a community banker service at the hub.
