New salon at Balderton, Nottinghamshire Beth’s Beauty to offer a relaxing spa experience for clients that the own says will focus on personal service





A new business celebrated its opening on the weekend.

Beth's Beauty opened its doors at 4 Brisbane Court, Bullpit Road, Balderton on Saturday, (February 3).

Owner of the business, Beth Willows said that she was excited to begin the new venture and was looking forward to welcoming people to the premises.

"I have always been in the beauty industry and I have always wanted my own place but I had to work my way up," said Beth.

"We were open from 10am-2pm on our open day and over 50 people came in from the community to welcome us which was lovely.

"It was great to see some new faces as well.

"I have always lived in Balderton so it is ideal for me to open a shop here.

"The aim for the salon is to be more of a chilled spa experience for my customers.

"I will offer facials, advanced facials including anti-aging, hot stone massages, deep tissue massage, eyebrows, nails, waxing, and pedicures.

"It will just be me initially, but I am looking to have other services in the future and people will be coming on board to help with that.

"I want to go into more advanced body treatment in the future.

"There will be less hustle and bustle than many other salons because you won't have many people being in there at once.

"It will be a calming atmosphere and the focus will be on the client.

"The goal is for the services to be a lot more personal and for clients to be able to relax when they arrive."

Beth worked at Eden Hall for a decade and said she has previously worked at other salons as well.

The premises where the salon has opened was previously a dog grooming business.

It has undergone a full renovation including new floors and walls.

"It is such a nice environment, we have made it quite classy yet inviting," said Beth.

"We made sure we used a local joiner and a local decorator to renovate the premises.

"A lot of work went into the transformation of the property.

"The location is great because it is on a main bus route, there is ample parking and lots of other businesses around the salon that people can also enjoy when they come here.

"It is very convenient for clients."

Beth said her 12-year-old son Oliver had designed her business logo and the colour scheme for the business had stemmed from his idea.
