They rehearse for an hour every Saturday during term time at the academy to create routines for national street dance competitions, such as United Dance Organisation and UK Street Challenge.

The open day, which runs from 12.30pm until 1.30pm, is aimed at anybody aged 13 to 18.

They will have the opportunity to meet the team and take part in a workshop, led by teacher Colby Richardson.

He is currently at the Addict Dance Academy, Leicester, where he is trained by professional dancers and choreographers who work with artists such as Beyonce, Little Mix and Justin Bieber.

Leader Leanne Phillips will be available to give information about the opportunities that come with being part of the group.

“This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to be part of a dance family and build on their street dance skills,” she said.

To book a space at the open day contact Leanne on 07971 718547.
