New exhibition opens at The Spotlight Gallery in Newark Town Hall by East Midlands-based contemporary art collective Cover-Uncover
A new art exhibition aims to give visitors a chance to see things differently.
Work by the group Cover-Uncover, made up of five East Midlands-based contemporary artists, is now on display at The Spotlight Gallery in the Town Hall new exhibition.
Their work explores the ways in which art can encourage people to explore different perspectives of the things we see everyday and take for granted.
Inspiration has been drawn from architectural structures, small objects, views of nature, evidence of industries that have disappeared, as well as the people we encounter the stories they have to tell.
The exhibition is free to visit and runs until Friday, August 9.
The Spotlight Gallery is open weekly from Wednesday to Friday, 10.30am to 1pm, and on Saturdays from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
