Specsavers on Middlegate, Newark to launch new hearing service
An optician is soon the launch its new hearing service in response to growing demand for hearing care.
Carien Hummel, the managing director at Specsavers, Middlegate, Newark, will be cutting the ribbon to officially launch the service on Monday (June 2).
“We are delighted to be offering a dedicated new audiology service for the people of Newark and surrounding areas,” said Siddhant Majithia, Specsavers Newark store director.
He added: “We’re thrilled to have Carina with us to celebrate, and we’ll be handing out goodie bags to customers, and there will be cake too, so do come along if you can.”
The new hearing room means that customers will be able to visit the store for both their eye and ear care needs.
It will be run by audiologist Pooja Pancholi, who has over five years of experience, followed by a team of hearing care experts.
It will offer a range of services from hearing checks and wax removal to helping customers find the correct hearing solutions.
Pooja added: “‘A change in your hearing is natural and is something that everyone experiences, so if you’ve noticed anything different about your hearing, visit us in store and we’ll do what we can to help restore some of the sounds that you’ve been missing.
“Whether it’s wax removal or a hearing device that gives your ears a boost, we’ll work with you to understand what is important to you and find a solution to suit your needs.”
Appointments are available five days a week, Sunday to Thursday, with customers offered a quick and simple check, which can help detect any hearing loss, followed by a comprehensive test if needed.
