All employees receive a benefits package, which includes generous holiday allowances, training and development, hybrid working options for most roles and access to wellbeing services.
The not-for-profit is also looking for volunteers who can spare a few hours of their time each week for the Y Girls mentor scheme, which aims to empower girls aged 9 to 14 through one-to-one mentoring, as well as it's Street Pastor programme, which supports vulnerable adults in Nottingham city centre.
Todd Cauthorn, Executive Director, YMCA Newark and Sherwood, said: “The YMCA is one of the most rewarding employers in the region, with a unique culture that runs throughout every part of the organisation.
"Our brand-new Community and Activity Village is one of the most exciting developments that the area has seen, and we have some incredible job opportunities for people to join us in this new venture.
“As well as giving back to the local community with the services we offer, we are proud to be creating so many new jobs for people in the region, especially in the current climate when we know so many households are struggling with the rising cost of living.
“Working with the YMCA not only offers financial stability, but it also gives our employees and volunteers a huge sense of pride, knowing that they are making a difference to the lives of young adults.”
Nathaniel Soderberg, Gym Manager and Fitness Specialist, said: “We have a unique way of approaching fitness within our gym. We’re trying to educate people to have an overall better way of living, not just physically but mentally too.
"It’s a much more collaborative approach and we are looking to recruit health and fitness coaches whose skills align with what we want to deliver and who will embrace this incredible opportunity to change people’s lives for the better.”
