New multi-million-pound primary school in Bingham reaches latest milestone

The new £7.9m free school in Chapel Lane, Bingham, continues to take shape with the main structure now complete.

The school, which will be sponsored by the Community Inclusive Trust, will offer 210 places to local pupils and 26 nursery places, largely serving the new housing development at Romans’ Quarter in the town.

The one-storey 1,405sq ft school will feature seven classrooms, a multi-use games area, playground and a new hall, which doubles up as a dining and indoor sports hall.
