New sports massage clinic by Andy Saxby to open in Newark, Nottinghamshire
A new sports massage clinic has opened in the area as its owner looks to expand the business.
Andy Saxby, who is currently a sports science under-graduate at Manchester Met University was doing mobile massage where he visited clients has now started moving into a treatment room operating out of Heavenly Steps, on 47-48 Stodman Street.
The business will be up and running from December 9.
Andy said the move made sense after clients said that they would like a space to visit.
He is also currently the physio for Newark Town Ladies.
"I was looking for somewhere to set up to further the business," said Andy.
"I've been looking around different sites and this one works.
"The place is nice and there is room to expand for me to build the client base.
"It has worked out perfectly."
Andy is from Newark and wanted a space where he stayed in the area.
He has been a lorry driver for around 20 years and has been moving away from the field to do his passion.
Andy previously served in the RAF.

"I managed to get into university, sports science has always interested me," said Andy.
"The dream would be to get into professional sport.
"Massage is something that compliments sports science.
"It gives me more tools to help people.
"I look to treat the root cause of the problem and take people all the way through rehabilitation.
"It is a supportive way of doing it."
Andy is gradually making the transition with his business.
He will be working a staggered week initially while he juggles his full-time job and will still be offering mobile massage.
