We review the Grown Alchemist Spa Garden Takeover at Eden Hall Day Spa

As a tired mum of two primary school-aged children who works full-time in this busy industry, having the opportunity to review a new spa treatment was such a welcome opportunity.

Eden Hall Day Spa have launched their Grown Alchemist Spa Garden Takeover, what it describes as a blend of botanical beauty, clean science, and holistic wellbeing.

Set in a beautifully reimagined spa garden, this new, exclusive range of Grown Alchemist treatments are hosted outdoors next to the spa’s hydrotherapy pool, with a curated outdoor drinks menu designed with the brand’s wellness philosophy in mind.

After spending the morning enjoying the spa’s amazing facilities, I headed outside to the Grown Alchemist for my treatment — an Grown Alchemist Cryo Eye Lift as I’m not enjoying the new lines and dark circles around my eyes that come with middle age!

I was greeted by the lovely Lily, who invited me inside the specially located marquee next to the hydrotherapy pool, which boasts amazing features including a lovely heated pool, various benches with hydro jets to soothe your tired muscles, and special power jets.

As it was a sunny but windy day, I was offered a cosy blanket and hot water bottle to keep warm during my treatment which I gratefully accepted.

Lily the proceeded to use plenty of beautifully smelling Grown Alchemist products on my skin, starting with the Balancing Toner, followed by a facial SPF and Renew Facial Serum.

She then applied the Renewal Eye Cream before bringing out the Cryo Balls, which were cold, metal roller balls to reduce the puffiness around my eyes. These were cold but not unpleasant and were very soothing.

She finished off with a Hydra Repair Lipbalm, and I could definitely see an improvement in the glow of my skin and my eyes looked a lot less tired.

I then had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious three-course meal as part of the Purity Spa Package, including a delicious carrot soup, chicken breast with crushed potatoes and broccoli, and an oh-so-naughty tiramisu for dessert.

After another spell in the indoor and outdoor pools and the various water features, I left the spa feeling completely refreshed, relaxed, and completely rejuvenated.

Anyone who hasn’t yet been to Eden Hall Day Spa should get themselves there as soon as possible. The staff are wonderful, the facilities spotless, the food is amazing, and I couldn’t recommend the entire experience highly enough. — RA
