New Year Honours

The senior organiser of Newark Home-Start Mrs Elaine Rossall has been made MBE in the Queens New Year Honours for her services to the organisation.

The charity helps young families by offering support and friendship and celebrates its 25th anniversary next year.

Kate Davies, the strategic director of Nottinghamshire County Drug and Alcohol Action Team was made an OBE for services to disadvantaged people.
