Confirmed coronavirus cases in Newark and Sherwood reaches 169 today (Wednesday, June 10), says Public Health England




Two new coronavirus case has been confirmed in Newark and Sherwood according to Public Health England, taking the total to 169.

The figure in Nottinghamshire is 1,452, up six since yesterday. Nottingham city itself has 617 confirmed cases, up two since yesterday.

Gedling — 223 (up one)

Rushcliffe — 198 (no change)

Mansfield — 133 (no change)

Ashfield — 244

Broxtowe — 240 (up two)

Bassetlaw — 245 (up one)

According to the latest public data ­— 289,140 patients in the UK have tested positive and 40,883 people have died.
