The world-renowned Newark Antiques Fair brings together the biggest selection of antiques in Europe at Newark Showground today and tomorrow.
There's a lot to see across the massive 84-acre site, with up to 2,500 stallholders covering every taste, as local businesses from Newark and around Nottinghamshire join with traders from across Europe and the world.
Expect to find stalls selling; jewellery, ceramics, collectables, artwork, silver, salvaged goods, vintage clothing and high quality antique furniture.
Buying antiques isn't just perfect for styling a home, but also offers a sustainable approach to the planet as buying antique furniture has approximately 16 times less carbon footprint than buying furniture new.
Designers often visit Newark Antiques Fair to source unique interior design inspiration for their clients and their own home. So too do antiques experts, such as David Harper, who travels to Newark to shop decorative artists pieces and speak with experienced art dealers.
David said he regularly comes to Newark to purchase antique and vintage goods, saying: “There is always something unexpected at Europe’s largest antiques fair.”

The Newark Antiques Fair will be open until 6pm today and from 8am to 4pm tomorrow. Tickets are available to book online for £20.00 today (Thursday) and £5.00 tomorrow (Friday).
