Beermuda Triangle Beer Festival is back at the end of January.

This year’s Newark participating pubs are The Flying Circus, Just Beer and The Organ Grinder, for the festival, which runs from Thursday, January 27, to Sunday, January 30.

Fifty beers will feature across the three venues for the four days, with an eclectic mix of styles that aims to suit all palates.

There is also a treasure hunt between the pubs where one must find and piece together three clues to produce the name of a famous living Frenchman. Beery prizes will be awarded to three lucky winners, drawn at random.

The BeerMuda Triangle Beer Festival was started in 2012 originally to combat the post-Christmas blues and latterly to support Tryanuary — the drink industry’s counter campaign to Dry January.

In that time, it has become a popular and well-attended event by locals and visitors alike.
