Newark man who breached restraining order before community order even took effect among Nottingham Magistrates' Court listings

A man who breached a restraining order before a community order had even taken effect received a suspended prison sentence.
Michael Richens, 39, of Lindsay Avenue, Newark, admitted breaching the order, which was imposed on April 6, by sending a text and was sentenced to 16 weeks, suspended for a year.
Richens was also told to pay costs of £213 at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court.
