Newark man locked up at Nottingham Crown Court after pleading guilty to assaulting an emergency worker




A man has been locked up after admitting a multitude of crimes including assaulting an emergency worker.

Damien Ward, of Winston Court, Newark, pleaded guilty to robbery, actual bodily harm, assaulting an emergency worker, theft and drugs offences.

The 31-year-old robbed a man of his distinctive electric bike as he rode along Wilford Crescent East in The Meadows, Nottingham, on the morning of February 24 this year.
