People's Postcode Lottery player on Mountney Place, Newark's bumper pay day

ONE lucky Newarker scooped a £30k windfall, thanks to playing People’s Postcode Lottery.

The Mountney Place player won £30,000 after NG24 2AE was announced as a winner with People’s Postcode Lottery today.

Offering her congratulations, People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt, said: “Making it through to Wednesday can be quite the feat, but life for this lucky Newark winner will be much easier as £30,000 heads into their bank account providing a very exciting mid-week boost.

“Thanks to this player, local charities are also benefitting making this a win all-round for everyone.”

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have helped raise more than £500m to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

Local charities also benefit from player support. Streetwise Opera, a performing arts charity for people affect by homelessness, recently received £6,500 in funding to provide 20 opera workshops for at least 65 people in Nottingham.
