Newark Police reveal how many drivers were speeding during Operation Reacher in East Stoke

More than 50 vehicles were clocked as part of a speed check operation by Newark Police.

Officers visited East Stoke as part of Operation Reacher and checked the speed of 54 cars during the day.

In total, five drivers were stopped and given advice regarding their speed, while one drive was reporter for excess speed in a 30mph zone.

A spokesperson from Newark Police said the community had raised concerns about the driving in East Stoke.
