Newark & Sherwood District Council – Notice Of Public Path Order Town And Country Planning Act 1990, Section 257 And Paragraph 1 Of Schedule 14 Newark & Sherwood District Council (Alverton Footpath No.3, and, Kilvington Footpath No.3 and No.8) Public Path Diversion Order 2018

The above order was made on 14th March 2018. The effect of the order will be to divert the public footpath running from SK 7984 4272 and proceeding in a generally south westerly direction, skirting around old farm buildings to a point, SK 7946 4238 the parish boundary with Alverton, then continuing as Alverton Footpath No.3 to a point, SK 7938 4234 the remains of Alverton Footpath No.3 and having a total length of approximately 700 metres and create an alternative footpath instead commencing from a point SK 7938 4234 the remains of Alverton Footpath No.3 and proceeding in a northerly direction to a point, SK 7936 4246 the parish boundary with Kilvington, then continuing as Kilvington Footpath No.8 in a generally northerly direction to a point, SK 7936 4263 the junction with Kilvington Footpath No.7 and having a total length of approximately 300 metres and a width of 2 metres throughout to improve the public footpath as shown on the order map.A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at Newark & Sherwood District Council, Castle House, Great North Road, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG24 1BY from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at a price of £10.Any representation about or objections to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to Karen White, Newark & Sherwood District Council, Castle House, Great North Road, Newark, Nottinghamshire NG24 1BY not later than 10th May 2018. Please state the grounds on which it is made.If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Newark & Sherwood District Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for conformation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order. Public Path Extinguishment Order Highways Act 1980Newark & Sherwood District Council (Kilvington Footpath No.5) Extinguishment Order 2018The above order, made on March 14th 2018 under Section 118 of the Highways Act will extinguish the public footpath being part of Kilvington Footpath No.5 commencing from a point, SK 7966 4354 and proceeding in a south westerly then south easterly direction, to a point, SK 7964 4348 the junction with the existing Kilvington Footpath No.5, having a length of approximately 90 metres as shown on the order map. A copy of the order and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Newark & Sherwood District Council, Castle House, Great North Road, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG24 1BY from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m on Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and Map may be bought there are at the price of £10. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Karen White ( Director-Safety) Newark & Sherwood District Council, Castle House, Great North Road, Newark, NG24 1BY not later than 11th May 2018 . Please state the grounds on which they are made.
