Night of soul and motown music at Newark Showground to raise money for Children’s Bereavement Centre and The Eva-May Trust
A night of soul and motown music is taking place to raise money for two charities.
The event will be taking place at the Newark Showground on Saturday, October 23, with the music starting at 7pm until 1am.
There will be a variety of musicians taking part in the night, including headliner Jimmy James & The Vagabonds, with Anthony Pegg and local DJs as support acts.
Profits will be going to the Children’s Bereavement Centre and The Eva-May Trust.
Co-organisers of the event Paul Walker and Jerome Fox, of Newark Disco, will also be performing as a DJs for the event.
Paul said: “I’m looking forward to getting together and having a good time and then also raising money for good local charities at the same time.
“I think at the moment everyone is in need of a good night out so it would be great to give everyone that opportunity.”
