Nightmare neighbour

Residents living near Tesco in Ollerton have demanded action from the supermarket to stop anti-social behaviour in its carpark.

They describe Tesco as bad neighbours for allowing the problems — including cars racing around the carpark — to continue.

They claim youths drive laps around the carpark and nearby streets, and keep them awake with engine noise and loud music.

Rufford Avenue residents attended a Boughton and Ollerton Tenants and Residents’ Association meeting to voice their concerns.

A spokesman for Tesco said: “We take our responsibilities as a good neighbour seriously and we are working with the police and council to resolve this issue.”
