On behalf of the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham, I would like to clarify a point in the story £10m Investment Sought For Historic Hall (Advertiser, April 16).
The title of Kelham Hall does not include the church, churchyard of monk’s graveyard.
St Wilfrid’s remains the parish church for Kelham, the churchyard remains open for internments and the monk’s graveyard is owned by the Society of the Sacred Mission (SSM). The monk’s graveyard retains the link with SSM, which ran Kelham Theological College from 1903 to 1972. — MR MARTIN COOPER, chief executive, Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham.
