NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (NEWARK FOOTPATH NO.66) CREATION ORDER 2018

On 16th July 2018 the Nottinghamshire

County Council confirmed the above Order

made under Section 26 of the Highways

Act 1980.

The effect of the Order as confirmed is

to create a public footpath commencing

from a point, SK 8016 5503, at the junction

with the footway at Waters Edge,

Kings Sconce, and proceeding for a

distance of approximately 13 metres in

a northerly direction to a point, SK 8016

5504, at the junction with an unregistered

footpath as shown on the displayed Map.

A copy of the Order as confirmed and the

Order Map may be seen free of charge

at my Office at the address below between

9.00 am and 4.30 pm Mondays

to Fridays inclusive and at the office of

Newark and Sherwood District Council,

Castle House, Great North Road, Newark,

NG24 1BY and at Newark Public

Library, Beaumond Gardens, Balderton

Gate, Newark, NG24 1UW, during their

respective normal opening hours until

13th September 2018. Copies of the Order

and Map may be purchased from my

Office at the address below at a cost of

£5 per copy.

The Order came into force on 16th July

2018, but if a person aggrieved by the

Order wants to question its validity, or

of any provision contained in it, on the

grounds that it is not within the powers of

the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or

on the grounds that any requirement of

the Act, as amended, or of any regulation

made under the Act, as amended, has

not been complied with in relation to the

Order, he or she may, under Paragraph

2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by

Paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act,

within 6 weeks from 2nd August 2018,

make an application for the purpose to

the High Court.
