The above Order, made on 9th March 2018, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public right of way commencing from a point, SK 7309 6049 the remains of Caunton Footpath No.6A and proceeding for a distance of approximately 150 metres in an south westerly then westerly direction across the lawns of Beesthorpe Hall to a point SK 7295 6045, the remains of Caunton Footpath No.6A, to a line running from a point SK 7309 6049 the remains of Caunton Footpath No.6A and proceeding for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a westerly direction along the driveway to the hall, before heading south then west along the base of the formal garden wall (Ha Ha) for a distance of approximately 125 metres, before continuing in a northerly direction for a further distance of approximately 35 metres to a point, SK 7295 6045 the remains of Caunton Foot-path No.6A, as shown on the displayed Map, and also provide for the required consequential amendment of the Nottinghamshire Area 7 Definitive Map and Statement. A copy of the Order, Order Map and Statement of Reasons may be seen free of charge at my Office at the address be-low between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive until 8th May 2018 and at the offices of Newark and Sherwood District Council, Castle House, Great North Road, New-ark, Notts, NG24 1BY and at Southwell Library, The Bramley Centre, King Street, Southwell, Notts NG25 0EH, during their respective normal opening hours until 8th May 2018. Copies of the Order and Map may be purchased from my Office at the address below at a cost of £5 per copy. Any representations about or objections to the Order must be received by the Countryside Access Team at the address given below not later than 8th May 2018. Please state the grounds on which they are made.If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Nottinghamshire County Council may themselves confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.
