Nottingham Forest Academy 11 defeats Newark FC 3-2 at Lowfields

By Connor Thompson

Newark FC were on the verge of a historic win over Nottingham Forest, before a remarkable comeback in the final five minutes saw The Reds win 3-2.

The fixture was a tribute to Newark FC’s first official match, a 0-0 draw against Forest in 1869.

Damo Parkinson, of Newark Town and Craig Roche, of Newark Flowserve, dual-managed the side.
