Newark Showground hosts Nottinghamshire County Show - everything that happened in pictures

By Connor Thompson

This year’s Nottinghamshire County Show was “simply fantastic,” said the chief executive of the Newark and Nottinghamshire Agricultural Society.

Adrian Johnston said there were more people through the gates at Newark Showground at the weekend than there have been for four to five years.

The crowd-pulling headliners were a Russian Cossack stunt team new to the UK arena circuit.

Dzhigitovka (Jiggy-toff-ka) brought authentic and exciting displays to the show.

Visitors also had the chance to enjoy unique and entertaining races.
