A training centre welcomed visitors to its Newark offices as part of Get Online Day.

The Big Training Company, on Castlegate, showed people how to use the internet as part of a national initiative.

People were given advice on what was available on the world wide web, such as information about primary schools.

The Mayor of Newark, Mrs Rita Crowe, was among those who attended.
