Number of coronavirus cases in Newark and Sherwood reaches 10,861 today (Thursday, August 12) according to Public Health England
One new coronavirus-related death has been reported in Newark and Sherwood today, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
In the latest 24-hour period, there has been one new death reported in the district within 28 days of the person testing positive for the virus, taking the total to 207.
A total of 60 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the district.

In the last seven days there have been 426 positive cases recorded in Newark and Sherwood, which is down seven cases.
According to the latest public data, 6,146,800 (up 29,612) patients in the UK have tested positive and 130,607 (up 104) people have died within 28 days of positive test.
The number of people vaccinated with the first dose up to August 10 is 47,129,400 (up 37,511) and the total for the second dose is 39,839,709 (up 151,143).
