A total of 83 coronavirus cases and one death have been confirmed in Newark and Sherwood, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

In the last seven days there have been 525 positive cases recorded in Newark and Sherwood, which is down five cases on the previous seven days.
In the latest 24-hour period, one new death has been reported in Newark and Sherwood within 28 days of the person testing positive for the virus, taking the total to 222.
According to the latest public data, 8,154,306 (up 34,574) patients in the UK have tested positive and 137,735 (up 38) people have died within 28 days of positive test.
