East Bridgford Open Gardens to take place on June 7 on Facebook

Social isolation may have caused the cancellation of outdoor events this summer ­— but not East Bridgford Open Gardens.

Organisers are hitting the internet in a fundraiser for Nottinghamshire Hospice and the village via an online JustGiving page.

The open gardens will take place on June 7 when more than 20 gardens will be showcased on the organisation’s Facebook page.

The event was revived last year after a 20-year break and hundreds of visitors helped raise over £2,000 for good causes.

Donations are already rolling in and followers are increasing at a good rate so the organisers are hopeful that the day will be a great success.
