Opinions sought on electric vehicles
Residents are being asked to have their say on the facilities for electric vehicles in Rushcliffe, including factors that would encourage them to own, charge and maintain a battery or plug-in hybrid vehicle.
The views will help inform where the installation of charge points may be possible and help shape planning for potential facilities in line with local current or future capacity.
The survey, which takes five minutes to complete, also gives residents the opportunity to comment more widely on car charging in the borough.
The council’s cabinet portfolio holder for neighbourhoods, Rob Inglis, said: “This serves as a great opportunity for residents to let us know what they would like from a modern neighbourhood that supports green, low-emission vehicles as a part of everyday life.
“As more choose to switch to electric vehicles in the coming years, we want to hear from residents on what measures could make such low-emission vehicles more appealing to them.”
The closing date for completing the survey is November 2.
