Millets closes its doors at St Marks Place, Newark

An outdoor clothing and equipment chain store has closed down in the heart of town.

Millets, a specialist chain supplying clothing and equipment for outdoor pursuits, camping, cycling & skiing, has closed its store on St Marks Place, Newark, this week.

In 2019, the store relocated from its location in Middlegate — where Specsavers currently is — to its last location in St Marks Place.

The unit has now joined the number of empty shops in that part of town.
