LEARN MOREPraise indeed to the Advertiser and the articles with regard to accessibility to GPs, especially the interview with Dr Thilan Bartholomeuz (You Can Still See Your GP, November 18).
I am sure some members of his profession have worked tirelessly this last 18 months, but nowhere as tirelessly as the staff at the sharp end during this pandemic. So, please, don’t pat yourselves on the back for not being accessible to patients during the restrictions.
I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and have received amazing face-to-face support and care from the chemotherapy nurses at NUS hospital Nottingham, King’s Mill hospital and even more so from our amazing nursing staff in Minster Ward at Newark.
