Perfect pass for dancers
All the pupils at a Southwell dance school who took Royal Academy of Dance ballet exams have passed.
Six students at Southwell School of Dance, based at the leisure centre, passed with a merit or distinction.
The eleven dancers who took primary ballet exams also passed.
It was the first time the exams had been held at the school.
The principal, Melanie Gibson, said she was pleased with how well the girls had done.
She said: “The children worked so hard it was nice to see their hard work being rewarded.
“One of the main things as well was that they enjoyed the exam. They all had a lovely time and were very positive about it.”
Melanie Gibson said she was particularly pleased the school had done so well with its first set of exams.
