Person hit by train between Grantham and Newark Northgate

A person has been hit by a train between Grantham and Newark Northgate.

Train services are currently unavailable to run between these stations.

It is anticipated that the travel disruption will continue until 10am, affecting services running through Peterborough on the Kings Cross route.

Buses will be running between Peterborough and Grantham from 8.40am.

The incident follows a similar one yesterday which also caused major disruption.

Services affected:

Grand Central between London Kings Cross and Bradford Interchange / Sunderland

Hull Trains between London Kings Cross and Hull / Beverley

LNER between London Kings Cross and Lincoln / Bradford Forster Square /Leeds / York / Newcastle / Edinburgh / Glasgow Central / Aberdeen
