Pictures brighten wait for patients

Photographs of local landscapes are providing light relief for patients at Southwell Medical Centre.
Around 25 pictures taken by professional photographer Mr Declan Joyce (49) of The Crops, Kirklington, have been hung on the walls of the waiting room.
It is the latest in a programme of exhibitions organised by Southwell Medical Users’ Group and Southwell Artspace.
Mr Joyce’s exhibition is called Chasing The Light, Landscapes Of Southwell.
Mr Joyce said the photographs were a celebration of Southwell and its surrounding countryside.
The exhibition will run until the middle of June, when Mr Joyce plans to display some of his photographs in the Bull Yard Gallery, Southwell.
